12/21: Longest night reflective service
Thursday, December 21st at Aspira 7pm
The Holiday season is difficult for many. On the longest night of the year, we take time to acknowledge that long nights are a painful but true part of our journey with God. Our Longest Night Reflective Service allows space for silence to remember loved ones and creates space for sorrow in our broken world, even as we celebrate the hope of Christmas.
We will guide you through space for reflection and prayer, with reflective music throughout. The service will last about 45 minutes. Because of the silence and reflection, we suggest that children not be included. Childcare will be available for anyone who would have trouble sitting quietly through the service.

12/24: Christmas Eve Hot Chocolate bar and Celebration Gathering
Sunday, December 24th at Aspira 5:30pm
We will not have a morning celebration gathering, so join us from 5:30-6:30pm for a gourmet Hot Chocolate Bar and assorted treats. If you'd like, bring a treat to share!
Then, from 6:30-7:30pm we will gather in the auditorium for a reflective celebration with music, candle lighting, and a dramatic retelling of the story through some of our KidsLife kids.
We will also take up an offering (the only time we ever pass a plate!!) to provide hygiene kits for families in crisis through Mennonite Central Committee.
Let's celebrate the birth of Emmanuel!
We will not be streaming this gathering on Zoom.

12/31: SundayServe
Sunday, 12/31 at Aspira 10:30am
Compassion Sunday is an opportunity to use our gathering time to connect to God's redemptive work in the world in a practical, tangible way. We'll be packing hygiene kits for refugee families, to be distributed by the Mennonite Central Committee. Keeping clean is an important part of remaining healthy, but families who have fled their homes because of disaster or war often struggle to afford these necessary supplies. We'll also spend time praying for our compassion work in 2023.
Show up at our usual time, enjoy some coffee, then we'll end our year by helping others!
